VELOCITY Channel's COMPETITION READY TV Show will air in late APRIL 2016. It was an honor to be able to detail award-winning cars for the show with other detailers from around the U.S. I am the only PROFESSIONAL DETAILER from TEXAS that will be featured on this new show.
I flew to Missouri and detailed this one off Mercedes Benz built by Samson Designs. The Benz was to be up for the Ridler Award and even though it did not win, the car was selected to the final round of the award process called the ' TOP 8 '. Not bad considering the level of the cars in attendance.
When we arrived in Missouri for the detail, the car looked good, but needed our Professional touch. Amazing build quality and straight lines on this Benz ; from the pristine engine compartment to the handmade luggage in the trunk and every suspension component underneath!!! We washed the car and then began the polishing process. Every trim piece was taped off to prevent any polisher rubbing against it , which may have damaged it. After Mike determined what polishing steps the car would need to get it COMPETITION READY, we polsihed the car to a brilliant shine. The cameras captured 10 hours of SHINE! From a team of almost 11 guys that is over 100+ hours of washing, polishing, wiping, cleaning, and waxing!!!
